  •  ES Components offers up-screening of SiTime oscillators based on MIL-PRF-55310 requirements and MIL-STD-883 methods. Up-screening can be performed on 100% of the devices or a sample of each lot for characterization and lot acceptance. Standard flows are readily offered for up-screening at minimum added cost, however, customers may choose from an array of tests to create their own requirements in a Source Controlled Drawing (SCD). ES Components is ITAR registered and can receive ITAR drawings.

    ES Components military up-screening can include 100% burn-in at maximum specified temperature with device in operation to screen out any infant mortalities. Devices can also be tested from hot to cold temperature extremes in 1⁰C increments, to prove full temperature range compliance. Environmental screenings, including centrifuge, thermal shock, temperature cycle and hermeticity fine/gross leak, are offered to screen devices based on MIL-PRF-55310 methods.

    SiTime’s commercial products are very reliable and compared to quartz oscillators, offer many orders of magnitude better performance in harsh conditions such as shock, vibration, temperature change, power supply noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
