Eastern States Components is more than a classic distributor, we are a value-adding solutions provider. SCDs (Source Controlled Drawings) are the norm and finding alternates is our specialty. Ethics and quality are the core values of ES Components as seen by the number of quality certifications and the longevity of our customers and employees. When price is an issue, we offer high quality alternatives that can meet the requirements while reducing overall cost. When the exact component isn’t available, we help find an alternative, including ASIC custom designs. We’re unique in our mindset that our “customers should only pay for what they need, and we should invest for long-term results”.
It is common knowledge that Manufacturers only want to sell what they make, and Distributors want to sell what they have, not always what customers want to buy. ES Components values our Franchise Suppliers by having minimal overlap, allowing us to work closely with their management and engineering to get our customers exactly what they require. Our focus has been to specialize in Discrete Semiconductors and Passive components; we have since broadened our scope.
Vishay is our Flagship Franchise from our origins, offering a full complement of state of the art both, Military and Commercial, Active and Passive components (Includes Vishay Dale, Electro-Films, Gen Semi, IR Divested HPP, Optoelectronics, Semiconductors, Sfernice, Siliconix, Sprague, Thin-Film, Vitramon and all others). Microchip is our major Franchise for ICs (Integrated Circuits) with acquisitions including Atmel, Micrel, Microsemi, Phaselink, Supertex. Other niche suppliers like Knowles, (Compex, DLI, Novacap, Syfer), GoodArk, Semicoa, Semikron, Sensitron, Skyworks (Isolink), VPG, VPT Components, Zetex (Diodes Inc) and others, round out our intentionally limited and complementing offering (Please see our line card).
Our Franchise Support, Competent Engineers and employees with years of experience, allow us to work with our customers and suppliers to solve difficult problems, which is not typical of a distributor. We seldom, “No Bid any Opportunity”. We view difficult requests as challenge and an opportunity to solve a problem and enhance our relationship with our customer and supplier.
VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Programs is one of our best products as it saves $$$$, reduces both lead time and risk; end result “only what you need, only when you need it”. In addition to VMI, ES Components carries a robust inventory of products that are always ready to ship. Proactively to help mitigate long lead times, ES Components has a catalog of “Off The Shelf” commonly used products that are always in stock and ready to ship. Creative stocking and cost-saving programs are always offered, especially when Lot Qualification, RAD Testing, or Element Evaluation is required, based on your requirements not our system limitations.
ES Components added Manufacturing to our offering with the acquisition of Vishay Siliconix Military Products in 2017; we not only manufacture the products we acquired, we also offer Hermetic Assemblies, DMSMS/Obsolete Solutions and multiple Transistor and or Diode arrays processed and screened to your exact requirements.
